Black Americana

A Little Black Sambo book and print, antique mechanical banks, trading cards or vintage post cards, Reuzeit Emporium has a large selection. Black Americana is a term used to refer to any collectible that has an African- American theme.

Most collectible black Americana memorabilia was produced from the 1920's through the 1950's but as early as the

1800's. Many celebrities, Billy Dee Williams, Oprah Winfrey, and Spike Lee collect black memorabilia. Why collect black memorabilia? It's part of our heritage and it is a way to preserve and remember the past.
