Spoon holders were practical items in the Victorian home. They were kept on the table and held spoons. Whenever
someone needed a spoon, it was within easy reach. The homemaker didn't have to set out spoons that weren't going
to be used or get up from the table to find a spoon. This was a good idea that was time saving and practical.
