Shop Reuzeit Emporium for antique Victorian early American pattern glass (EAPG). A Victorian family required a four
piece table set at their
dinning room table. Often the table set displayed was a statement about the family’s
wealth and
status in their community.
The table set consisted of a butter dish, sugar bowl, cream pitcher and
a spoon holder.
There were a large
number of glass factories producing beautiful pattern glass during the Victorian
era. Some
patterns have many extra
serving pieces and some patterns have only a few extra pieces. This might be due to the
popularity of a
particular pattern or the amount of time a pattern stayed in production.
